1951 was a pivotal year for cyclemotors in Great Britain. The Festival of Britain took place this year throughout the country, demonstrating our new innovations to the World, and giving our population a preview of the vehicles they would also be able to buy soon.

The variety of cycle-attachments and cyclemotors on show at Earls Court that year set the pace for the next 4 years …until these cycle-attachments evolved into the mopeds that would make them obsolete. Here is a typical review of the show from the British motorcycle press.
